Yacht Master Class (YMC) Terms and Conditions

Payment:

A deposit of 50% of the total training fee is due on booking, unless otherwise agreed.

The deposit is due within 3 days of booking.

The balance is due after the training session takes place.

Payment can be made in cash or via bank transfer.

Cancellation by the client:

If the client cancels more than 6 weeks before the training session, a full refund of the deposit will be provided, minus expenses if applicable.

If the client cancels less than 6 weeks before the training session, the deposit will be retained. If rescheduling is possible, it may be offered.

In special circumstances, such as medical emergencies or other extenuating circumstances, cancellation may be handled on an individual basis.

Cancellation by Patrik:

If Patrik cancels the training session for any reason, a full refund or rescheduling will be provided, as agreed with the client.

If the training session is affected by an act of God, such as severe weather conditions or other unforeseeable events, rescheduling will be offered if possible. If rescheduling is not possible or feasible, a refund will be provided.

Yacht Master Class is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by the client, such as, but not limited to transportation, flights, or charter fees.

Liability and Waiver

By participating in a Yacht Master Class training, you assume the risks associated with sailing, including but not limited to injury or death, damage or loss of property, and the effects of weather. Yacht Master Class assumes no responsibility or liability for any loss or damages that may arise from your participation in the training.

All participants are required to sign a liability waiver before the training begins, acknowledging and accepting the risks involved in sailing and releasing Yacht Master Class from any liability in the event of injury, loss, or damages.

Participation in the training is conditional on signing and returning the Waiver of Liability and Hold Harmless Agreement prior to the training start date. Failure to sign and return the waiver will result in the cancellation of your training, and no refund will be provided. We strongly recommend that all participants sign the waiver at the time of booking.

The full text of the waiver can be found here.
